Philemon Jeb Bitrus (“The African Spartan”), is Nigeria’s rising MMA powerhouse. A professional MMA fighter with a growing international fight record, he is known for explosive striking, iron stamina, and relentless ground control.
Based in Abuja, Nigeria with the leading mixed martial arts academy Taurus Martial Arts (TMA) under founder and pro fighter Segun Ogunnoiki and training internationally (currently in Phuket, Thailand), he embodies discipline, grit, and the hunger of a new generation of African athletes.
At just 22 years old, he already holds an impressive professional record of 7–1, defeating opponents across Africa and Asia in top promotions like SFC, AFC, Eric Favre MMA, and AKO.
But for Jeb, fighting is more than sport. It’s legacy. It’s national pride.
It’s about showing the world what Nigerian fighters can achieve on the global stage.
“This is not just about me. It’s about Nigeria standing tall on the global stage of MMA.”
He’s fighting for Nigeria, for Africa, and for youth who need role models. His ambition: to fly the Nigerian flag in the UFC octagon by 2027.
